Galaxy Hardware Price Change
Galaxy has monitored our manufacturing costs over the last 18 months and has determined that the increased cost of goods will not decrease as hoped. Based on this evaluation, we are announcing a 5% increase for Galaxy-manufactured boards and packages. This decision is not one we take lightly but one that is needed to maintain our level of service to you, our partners. The price list will be released on January 15, 2025, and will reflect the updated pricing.

This price list will also include changes for the following vendors.
- Wavelynx
- HID
- IdentityOne (FIACAM)
- Veridt
- Savance

Product Change – Power Supply for all 635Packs
We would also like to inform you of some controller package changes. In this upcoming price list release, we removed the 635PACK(x) models that use the Altronix SMP-3 power supply with the plug-in transformer. Altronix has redesigned the SMP-3, and the latest design does not have a UL listing, forcing us to discontinue its use in our UL-listed controller packages. You will find a new controller section, the 635PACK(x)-DW, which offers a standard 110v input that can be wired directly or used with a standard three-prong 110v pigtail cable.
Due to the many lengths and options offered online and through local sources, we have decided to leave the pigtails out of the package. If standard lengths are established in the future, we would be more than happy to supply these as an optional part number. Please send your thoughts to sales@galaxysys.com regarding the desired length.
NEW! OSDP Module

We would also like to introduce a new product for the 635 Series Controllers. We have developed a new OSDP module for the 635 DRM. This module will allow you to use the existing DRM and add this OSDP module on the reader connectors, converting the standard Wiegand connection to the OSDP protocol. The OSDP module can be added seamlessly to existing systems as an upgrade, or you can order controller packages with the OSDP included.
